The Arvada Dog Den's training program provides private and group classes along with a board & train program. The training program covers all basic dog obedience and manners. Don Drogsvold, owner and trainer, has been professionally training dogs for 20 years. Our dog trainers have over 30 years of dog training experience. All puppies and dogs are trained with thorough step-by-step methods. Here at The Arvada Dog Den, dogs work for praise, affection, and play.
Training Options
1. Private One-On-One Training Program (CURRENTLY FULL)
The training program covers all basic obedience and manners. This program includes unlimited private one-on-one training sessions. Regular visits are scheduled for you and your family to come in for a half an hour once a week and work with our trainers. These guided training sessions give you an opportunity to learn more about canine behavior. We teach you the same methods we use in training your dog. Working with you ensures that the new, positive behavior will transfer to your environment. Once your dog has learned the words and you have learned the techniques, we then, graduate you and your dog into group class. You will receive six months of Group Class.
- Private One-On-One Training Program = $425.00 (unlimited private sessions plus six months of Group Class)
2. Board & Train Program
We offer a four week Board & Train Program. This program covers all basic obedience and manners. The Board & Train program can also address any specific behavioral issues that you may be having with your dog. In addition, this program includes private training sessions.
Prices:
- 4 Week Board & Train Program = $2,240.00 includes private training sessions while your dog is here as well as follow up classes after your dog goes home.
3. Group Class
Once your dog has gone through the private one-on-one training sessions, you graduate into Group Class. The Group Class is where your dog learns to respond to words in a distracted state of mind, all with the inevitable goal of "off leash" control. Many of our clients have been attending Group Class every Saturday for the last nine years!
Group Class is held every Saturday at 10:00a.m. Check Group Class schedule for holiday cancellations.
